Pandia Press Books is looking for freelance history writers for our History Quest series.
Strong candidates for this position possess a degree in history and a background in storytelling and writing curriculum. We are looking for writers who demonstrates the following attributes:
- Ability to complete a comprehensive curriculum series spanning ancient to modern history.
- Ability to write for elementary and middle-grade students using vivid settings and character-driven storytelling to make history come alive.
- Advanced writing and communication skills with a command of narrative structure and style at a professional publishing level.
- Creative, energetic, self-motivated, and able to practice effective time management to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with an editorial team.
