Pandia Press Books is looking for a freelance history writer for our History Quest series. 

Strong candidate has a background in history, story writing, creating curriculum, and the following attributes:

• Able to write to elementary and middle grade students using narrative, vivid setting, and character-driven storytelling to make history come alive.
• Demonstrates advanced writing and communication expertise, with a command of narrative structure, style, and language at a professional publishing level.
• Is creative, energetic, and self-motivating.
• Practices effective time management to meet deadlines.
• Can collaborate with an editorial team to develop a superior product.
• Able to coordinate with the marketing team on public facing outreach and promotions.

Our ideal candidate would also be able to complete a comprehensive curriculum series from ancient to modern history.
